I personally loved to play them. Way 4: Brute force. Normal vassals usually only give around 2% tax and levies especially if you forget to change their contract but republic vassals are guaranteed to give you at past 20% if there not your rightful vassal and 30% if they are. Direct vassal opinion: +5 Player heir opinion: +15 Under high partition succession, the lion’s share of titles will go to your player heir – the rest will be divided between your children. You can get mods for missing papal conclave and republican mechanics; but honestly I never bother using them because the improvements to feudal mechanics, politics and vassal management make this game so much better than ck2 ever was.
